Abigail Rumpp, MA

Medical Illustrator

Hi! I’m Abigail (or Abbi!), and I am a medical & biological illustrator based in Baltimore, Maryland. I attended McKendree University in Illinois as a student athlete, earning degrees in both Biology and Biopsychology. I received my Master’s in Medical Illustration at the Johns Hopkins Art As Applied to Medicine program. I currently work as a medical illustrator for the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

My goal is to help clients create accurate, visually stunning pieces that illustrate complex topics in the sciences. I specialize in patient education, editorial illustrations, animation, and anatomical/molecular illustrations.

I love telling engaging stories within my work. I create my work to resonate with everyone, ensuring that it’s inclusive to audiences of any background, education level, or age.
